Crusoe's Pub, established in 1996, has built up quite a reputation for being a bar with a difference. Customers have been coming back for twelve years and they remember Alex & Sara even if their previous visit was in the last millennium.
Crusoe’s is well known as the best quiz pub in Roda with different themes throughout the week and nightly competitions. Everybody gets a chance to win and quiz nights are a barrel of laughs. Young or old, everyone comes back for more!
Of course, that’s not all that Crusoe’s does best; it’s one of the few places in the village to serve an all-day breakfast and their range of snack meals is the most comprehensive in Roda. If you want a tasty selection of toasties, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pies, pizzas or burgers from which to choose, Crusoe’s cannot be beaten. Even packed lunches are provided for those going out on organised trips. Sara’s Sunday roast is one of the best, using only local, specially selected beef with real gravy, it is an experience that everyone should have at least once. Remember to book early!
Not only is there a wide range of food available, but also a massive range of cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, shooters, spirits, beers, wines, juices and almost 30 liqueur coffees. You can’t go thirsty at Crusoe’s.
If you are a sports fan, there is no better place to support you favourite team and, with large plasma televisions and a big screen, every event is covered. If there is something you want to watch that is not showing, just ask. Alex’s collection of football kit adorns the bar. It is something of an attraction, and if your favourite team is not represented, then it’s time you paid a visit. One warning – you may lose your shirt!
Crusoe’s is quite a package and don’t forget that all of this is accompanied by prompt service, first-rate drinks, pop classics and, of course, a smile!!!
