Whilst on holiday, start your day off right with a wide selection of freshly cooked breakfasts available from 9 till 12.30, ranging from a light bite to one of Maggie's Famous Monster Full English or Braveheart Scottish Breakfasts, the most extensive menu around with Steak n' Eggs, smoked salmon to beans on toast and scrambled eggs. All breakfasts include coffee and tea with no charge for top ups. Maggie's Place is renowned for the huge portions, and breakfast is no exception.
Maggie's Place also offers a wide variety lunchtime choice ranging from a selection of seven types of large burgers, a wide variety of fresh salads, and Jacket Potatoes.
Firm favourites on our afternoon tea menu - cream teas and home made fruit scones, but at this time of day probably the most notable happening is that The Fish Fryers go On!
Maggie's Place has for years been famous for it's 'Fish !n! Chips', using genuine imported North Sea Fish, cooked in our own exclusive batter mix and fried in Lard not oil, and served with real mushy peas. Available portions are small, medium and large, but be warned that large means LARGE!
Maggie's Place can be found nestled in the heart of the old village of Roda, just opposite the tiny Byzantine church. By all means, Maggie's Place is a landmark for lovers of good food, so come to sample Maggie's gigantic portions, the wonderful laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and the busy air conditioned bar with impromptu entertainment most nights of the week.
